Groene Schuco opwindautomodel Patent-auto of "Wendeauto" ook wel omkeerauto genoemd. Model 1010 uit de Mirako serie

Gemaakt tussen 1948 en 1951

in goede staat.

Rijdt niet van vlakke tafel af maar wendt zich om. ( De zogenaamde turn-back feature).

De "Mirako"-serie bestond uit auto's die een eigen aandrijving hadden en niet van de tafel konden vallen. Dit werd gerealiseerd door een aangedreven rubber wieltje dat dwars onder de auto, haaks op de langs-as draaide, op geringe hoogte boven het tafelblad. Zodra het voorste deel van de auto over de tafelrand viel raakte het wieltje het tafelblad, waarna de auto door dat wieltje weer op de tafel gewerkt werd.

Eduard Cramer was born in 1858 and trained as a tailor. However due to lack of work he began to use his skills to design soft toys. He became a German manufacturer of soft toys and went under the name of Eduard Cramer, Schalkau, Thuringia.

Everyone loves old toys. These "Minister Delux" tin toy cars date back to the late 1950's. They were made very well, and closely resemble the cars of that era!

This is a friction toy, meaning that you have to "rev" the car up by pushing it along the floor or table top and releasing it to allow the car to move on it's own. I have included a video of this in the listing! This car is in nice condition. The paint is still very nice, and it shows minor wear from use and storage over the years.
